Dining + Shopping, Jackson Hole

I get asked a lot what my black book of Jackson is and where to eat, drink and shop. Here are some of my favorites.

Bars and Restaurants

Snake River Brewing Company

This is a special one for me because my parents founded SRB in 1993 when we moved from Portland, Oregon to Jackson. There were a lot of firsts for the brewpub, and my mom battled the state of Wyoming for each and every one!

It was the first non-smoking bar in Wyoming, we served no fried food, the menu was wood fired pizzas (broccoli and ricotta was my favorite) baked fresh bread every morning, had delicious salad, and soups…and they sold a $9- six pack.

People laughed in their face and said we would be out of business in 6 months. Well, they weren’t! They hit the ground running and started racking up award after award at the Great American Brew Festival year after year. While they sold it in 2006 it remains a staple in Jackson and I am very proud of their legacy in Jackson.

These are the places I frequent the most, but there are a ton of other delicious options. Check out Dishing for a complete write up on anything new and upcoming.

Shopping

Admittedly I don’t do a ton of shopping when I am in Jackson, but these are my favorite stores to pop into when I am there. I also love the cheesy tourist stores where I pick up crazy tee shirts, funny gifts, huckleberry jam and stickers.
