Nice + Monaco

After a long flight to Paris then down to Nice, I couldn’t wait to get to our hotel, take a shower, and stretch. When I arrived at our I couldn’t shake the view. It was December and the colors of the town popped against the stormy sky. When Rob arrived from Marseille, we jumped in the car and went straight to Monaco for dinner!

We are a big Formula 1 family and having dinner by the course in Monaco was so fun. It’s crazy to imagine these guys ripping through the tiny streets going 200mph! With cold December weather, we bundled up and hit the town.

I love a good French bistro. My favorites are L’Express and Le Halles in NYC. I was craving muscles or escargot, and a martini!

The next morning we woke up to SNOW in the mountains! It was the first time it’s snowed in the South of France in years. We packed our car and hit the road to Lyon to visit friends…and make a few stops along the way.
