The Road to Lyon

I read a LOT of books about World War II set in France. After hearing the stories, I was now there looking at the landscape, feeling the cold air on my face, and wondering what it would have really been like to live during that time. The temperature was no joke, it was freezing…and snowing. We popped into a few little towns along the way and had a couple fun tastings too. The highlight was the snowman at Chateauneuf-du-Pape.
