Collection Inspiration

This may be an odd testimonial from my design process, but before I create a collection, I envision the photo shoot. I work backwards that way which is a bit random for some, and others completely norman. When I think if fall, I think of layers, rich colors of red, green, navy. I think chunky knits, warm socks, a fire, and hot tea. I also think of oversized tote bags, the perfect clutch for holiday cocktail parties, an elegant statement bag that will stand the test of time.

Then I get to work!

Not to give too much away, but this photo shoot is going to be the most styled and branded since I created my Safari shoot, still my favorite to date. Maybe it just is the 7 year itch that’s making me want to dive in and create something special, or maybe it’s that I want to give everyone a break from 2020 and show them beauty from our backyards and familiar faces.

Whatever the outcome will be, I’ll have it ready to share in a month. Until then, Here is a glimpse of my inspiration.
