Kale Salad

If there is one thing I make that I get asked the recipe for, it’s my Kale Salad. Ok, it’s not MY salad, but after the first time I was served this over 7 years ago, it has become a staple in our home.

This recipe only has 6 ingredients and can last in your fridge for a few days. I make a big batch and top it with salmon, chicken, avocado or anything else we might have in the fridge.

1 bunch Kale - any you like

1/3 cup of Braggs Liquid Amino Acids

1/3 cup fresh lemon juice

1/3 cup olive oil

1/2 red onion diced

A handful of toasted pumpkin and sesame seeds.

Once you have all of your ingredients prepped, mix together the Braggs, lemon juice and olive oil. I always modify it in case the lemons are too strong, or there is too much flavor from the Braggs. Once you get the dressing ready, add your diced onions and let them soak and cure for about 10 mins.

While the dressing is curing, wash and chop your kale then toast the seeds on the stove. Once everything is finished, pour the dressing and seeds on the salad and toss it up. The longer it sits, the better it is!

Enjoy!
